More success for Formula 1 Fuel at Gurston Down

Formula 1 Fuel users and car sharing duo Dave Gardner and John Forsyth once again had a highly successful weekend at Gurston Down.
In the BARC (SW) Top Ten Speed Hillclimb Challenge, Dave Gardner set a super smooth and rapid 28.81 seconds time and achieved Best Time of the Day taking the maximum 10 points, making his season's total 28 points and taking the Top Ten Challenge. Partner John Forsyth responded well and despite being 0.28 seconds slower than Gardner took second overall on the day and in the Challenge on 27 points. The duo drove their shared 3.5 Pilbeam MP58 Cosworth V8 single seater racecar.
 Hillclimbing at Gurston Down involves cars running singly against the clock from a standing start over the measured distance of 967 metres (1057 yards).

The course rises 43 metres (140 feet) from start to finish, although uniquely in this country the first section after the start is downhill.   The course is tarmac, about 12 feet wide and comprises fast and slow bends.

FORMULA 1 FUEL WINS THE MIDLAND HILL CLIMB CHAMPIONSHIP

Formula 1 Fuel saw even further success in the Midland Hill Climb Championship this weekend at Prescott. Peter Cox clinched the UK Changes Midland Hillclimb title in a 1978 Chevron-Rover B42, giving a huge boost to the increasingly popular pre-86 single seater class on the Midland hills.

The technologically advanced high performance racing fuel has been developed specifically for the high performance racing market and in addition to the Hill Climb Championship has also seen success in a number of other racing circles this season, including circuit racing.

According to Roger Wise, founder of Formula 1 Fuels, “The results we are seeing amongst competitive Formula 1 Fuel users just go to show that this is a superior racing fuel that can be relied upon for constant achievement.”

Formula 1 Fuels – The Winning Formula

New fuel on the block, Formula 1 Fuel has seen the ultimate in success in the British Hill Climb Championship round held at Gurston Down on Sunday 24th August. Formula 1 Fuel user Scott Moran won the Nicholson McLaren MSA British Hill Climb Championship for the first time.

According to Scott, “Formula 1 Fuel is ideal for hill climb competitions as we have found it to give consistent quality each and every time. Our recent win in the British Hill Climb Championship is testament to this.”

Formula 1 Fuels proves itself on the race track

New fuel on the block, Formula 1 Fuels is seeing outstanding success amongst its many customers in the racing world. The fuel, which is a technologically advanced high performance racing fuel developed specifically for the competitive market, has seen success in a number of racing circles this season, including the British Hill Climb Championships and the Dragon Kart Club Championships.

At the 2008 Nicholson McLaren British Speed Hill Climb Championship at Shelsey Walsh on 1st June, Formula 1 Fuel saw five of its customers in the top ten, four of which were in the top five. Scott Moran, current championship leader said, “Formula 1 Fuel is ideal for hill climb competitions as we have found it to give consistent quality each and every time.”

In the world of karting, a number of Formula 1 Fuel users achieved fastest lap times in the Dragon Kart Club Championships in June.

Seb Morris accomplished the fastest lap time in the Cadet W60 race with a time of 0:49.91, whilst Lewis Jones, another Formula 1 Fuel customer finished the Junior TKM in 0:45.73.

In the WTP-W60 A Final Ben Hingley and Seb Morris attained the two fastest lap times using Formula 1 Fuel with 0:50.42 and 0:49.94 respectively.

Formula 1 Fuels proves a success in Karting 

Formula 1 Fuels is seeing success in the world of karting with a number of Formula 1 Fuel users achieving fastest lap times in the Dragon Kart Club Championships in June. 

Seb Morris accomplished the fastest lap time in the Cadet W60 race with a time of 0:49.91, whilst Lewis Jones, another Formula 1 Fuel customer finished the Junior TKM in 0:45.73. 

In the WTP-W60 A Final Ben Hingley and Seb Morris attained the two fastest lap times using Formula 1 Fuel with 0:50.42 and 0:49.94 respectively.

Formula 1 Fuels sees success at Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb 

Formula 1 Fuel customers and car sharing duo Dave Gardner and John Forsyth had a highly successful weekend at Gurston Down Speed Hillclimb over the midsummer weekend, taking a Best Time of Day (BTD) award apiece in their 3.5 Pilbeam MP58 Cosworth V8 single seater racecar. Gardner was quickest in Saturday's miserable wet conditions but in Sunday's sunshine Forsyth set the track alight to be the only driver of the weekend under 29 seconds up the fast but twisty 967-metre (1057 yard) course. He now jointly shares the lead in the Gurston Down Top 10 Challenge.

Formula 1 Fuels continues to lead at British Speed Hill Climb Championships

The latest 2008 Hill Climb Championship results from Doune are proving the proficiency of Formula 1 Fuels. With Scott Moran still leading the championship with 134 points, having achieved first and second place in Scotland, and Trevor Willis in third place with 89 points. Fourth and fifth places are currently held by Chris Merrick and Roger Moran respectively, all of whom are running their cars on Formula 1 Fuels for the 2008 Hill Climb Championship.

Formula 1 Fuels leads the way at British Speed Hill Climb Championship

The 2008 Hill Climb season is now well under way and the results of the round at Shelsley Walsh provided a reason to celebrate for Formula 1 Fuels. 5 of the top 10 in the this round of the Hill Climb Championszhip ran their cars on Formula 1 Fuel, showing that this technologically advanced high performance racing fuel is the preferred choice of the motorsport world.

Scott Moran has a healthy lead in the championship at present, having two seconds at Shelsey Walsh with 95 points, he is followed by Trevor Willis with 54 points and in fourth place Roger Moran with 61 points. Chris Merrick is in 5th place with 60 points and Rob Turnbull is in tenth place with 14 points.
